The Observatory will be open for viewing on every Friday night during July and August, except July 4. Also open on September 5 and 21 and October 3. On the Saturdays of July 26, August 23, September 6 and October 4 there will be Astronomy Lecture Series presentations along with public viewing. Start time is posted on the calendar, and Guest speakers start a half hour after opening.

Weather permitting, you will be able to look at various celestial objects.
If you have any questions, please call the Observatory information line at 970-642-1111.

For an appointment, please review the calendar and select an open evening. Then go to the "Schedule" screen to give us the details of your visit.

Please give us at least a 1 week notice, when requesting a date.
